By accessing and using DonationDudes services, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provisions of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Description of Services

DonationDudes provides a platform connecting donors with local charities for furniture and household item pickup services. We facilitate the scheduling, pickup, and delivery of donated items to partner charitable organizations in the Portland, OR metro area.

3. Donation Guidelines

All donated items must be in acceptable condition for charitable reuse. Items should be:

• Clean and free of stains, tears, or significant damage
• Functional and safe for use
• Free of pests, mold, or hazardous materials
• Legal to donate and transfer ownership

We reserve the right to refuse pickup of items that do not meet these guidelines. Items refused at pickup may be subject to additional fees.

4. Pricing and Payment

Pricing is based on the type and quantity of items being donated, plus applicable service fees and fuel surcharges. All prices are displayed during the booking process before confirmation. Payment is required at the time of booking or upon completion of pickup, depending on the payment method selected.

5. Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the scheduled pickup time will receive a full refund. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled pickup may be subject to a cancellation fee. No-shows or refusal of pickup at the scheduled time will be charged the full service fee.

6. Liability

DonationDudes acts as a facilitator between donors and charitable organizations. While we take reasonable care during pickup and transport, we are not liable for pre-existing damage to donated items. Our liability is limited to the service fees paid for the pickup.

7. Tax Deductions

Donors may be eligible for tax deductions for charitable contributions. DonationDudes provides donation receipts upon request, but we do not provide tax advice. Please consult a tax professional regarding the deductibility of your donation.

8. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Your continued use of our services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
